Modern Slavery Statement

Smart Cash Limited is committed to preventing modern slavery in all its forms and ensuring that our operations and supply chains are free from any exploitation of human beings. As a leading recruitment and staffing solutions provider, we recognise the potential risks of modern slavery within our business activities and supply chains.

We have implemented a comprehensive Modern Slavery Policy that outlines our commitment to identifying, preventing, and mitigating the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking. This policy is reviewed regularly and communicated to all our employees, clients, and suppliers.

We provide modern slavery training to all our employees, and new hires must complete this training as part of their onboarding process. Our suppliers must comply with our ethical supplier code of conduct, and we conduct a risk-based approach towards auditing significant suppliers to ensure their compliance.

We do not use or tolerate forced, bonded, or involuntary prison labour, child labour, or any other form of human trafficking in our operations and supply chains. Furthermore, we do not hold our workers’ identity papers or work with businesses that do.

We conduct regular compliance audits to ensure our employees’ eligibility to work, references, qualifications, and proof of national insurance numbers. Additionally, we perform random checks to identify potential illegal or unethical behaviour among agency workers.

We are committed to continually improving our efforts to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking. We review our policies and procedures regularly to ensure they remain relevant and effective in preventing and detecting any form of modern slavery or human trafficking.

This statement is made in accordance with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending March 2023.
